Nat Bretherton continues a superb season with another personal best clocking of 4.26 over 1500m at the Trafford BMC Grand Prix, taking almost 2 seconds off her previous best that was set only a few weeks prior at the Gold Standard BMC in Watford.
Bretherton lined up in the 1500m B race where the pacer would set out at a brisk 68 seconds per lap, some 13 seconds faster than current PB pace for the BTC athlete, but with a level head she set off at a sensible pace and good rhythm and slowly but surely worked her way up the field. Frustratingly Nat had to battle her way past and around runners who slowing down dramatically on the third lap but that didn't stop a brilliant finish and fight to the line which rewarded her with a time of 4.26.7. Satisfied but hungry for more Nat continues with her summer training with the aim of a few more races before a well deserved break at the end of August.
